Nakamichi automotive sound systems, recommended for those who seek audio clarity, are now available in the Philippines.

In 1948, Nakamichi started as a small research institute in Japan, where it focused on acoustics and electronics, developing various innovations. But the Nakamichi brand was first used in 1972 when the Nakamichi 1000 was launched. It disproved the notion that cassettes can never be Hi-Fi, and, as some may remember, quickly became the standard others aimed for.

Nakamichi now extends this tradition to its automotive line. Premium speaker cone components ensure acoustic fidelity, with the reinforced polypropylene and glass fiber cones maintaining their structure throughout excursion and providing minimal distortion. Their light mass ensures that speakers remain responsive, allowing listeners to hear minute details original artists intended them to hear. Neodymium magnets, on the other hand, provide excellent drive without the bulk and mass of conventional ferrite magnets, allowing richer sound unachievable using the latter. Last, silk dome tweeters provide warmth in the acoustic output and allow easier soundstage construction.

Nakamichi amplifiers, on the other hand, are available in different trims. The economical entry-level PL series gives listeners tonal accuracy, excellent frequency response and minimal stereo crosstalk. The mid-range PM series is designed to provide listeners with a concert hall experience, from the lowest cello to the highest cymbals. The PA series, featuring full Class-D circuitry even on 4-channel amplifiers, is perfect for sound competitors who want the clearest, most defined sound from their vehicles.
